Age of good-enough-ism
As AI becomes more commonplace, we’ll start to see more of what I call good-enough-ism.
It’s probably a term that already exists, but I use it to describe the growing attitude of “ah well, it’s good enough (for now)” that people adopt when working with AI-generated output.
Now business owners can vibe-code a logo or an app themselves. In the past, when hiring a designer or an engineer, they might have demanded polish, completeness, and that last 10%. When building things themselves with AI, they are far more willing to accept rough edges.
Not because expectations disappeared, but because effort did. When something costs little time and no direct money, “good enough” suddenly feels… good enough.
It’s not perfect. But it ships.
