Amsterdam

Why do I want to become a programmer and what would happen to my life?.

Let's start off by introducing myself. I’m Nick, 26 years old and live in
Amsterdam. Since I left high school I’ve been looking for a
goal or something I want to work for and not because it's the norm or
to please my parents and others.

The reason I want to learn how to program is It’s the first time that
I enjoy going to work and has a future perspective as well. If I learned
how to program it would affect my life in a positive way. It will mean
that I have less stress about my future, way more opportunities later on
in life and finally doing something for myself that keeps me motivated.

My goals for the next few months are to learn “ruby on rails” and then “JavaScript”. Help out where possible for Cohub and efficiently start
doing my own jobs as a tester or programmer and maybe even go abroad to
Air Ubub “Artist In Residency” or something similar if everything is
going well.
