Funda, the site where the entire country hunts for houses, needed integration with the Kadaster, the Dutch land registry, to enrich listings with authoritative property data.
What I did
- Built the integration between Funda’s platform and the Kadaster’s registry systems
- Turned a governmental data source (with governmental data formats) into something a consumer product could rely on
- Worked embedded with Funda’s engineering teams
How it went
Shipped. Integrating with official registries is a masterclass in defensive engineering. The data is authoritative, but your assumptions about it never are.
